Girls Who Code is a national organization that was founded with the singular mission of closing the gap in technology. Girls Who Code introduces girls to the concept of coding and the idea of using computer science to have an impact their community through its computer science projects.

We are now launching Girls Who Code of Macon County for girls who are looking to develop a sisterhood forged through computer science. It is free for girls to participate in Girls Who Code and incorporates skills from the beginning level programmer to the advanced programmer.  The first Girls Who Code of Macon County 10-week session will start Spring 2018!

Girls Who Code of Macon County is a partnership between Decatur Public Library and Mamie D. Hayes Educational Foundation, Inc.

THIS IS A FREE PROGRAM. Visit the Facebook page for Girls Who Code of Macon County to complete the registration form and secure your seat at one of the scheduled information sessions.
